The picspam of Sam smiling during the conversation with John in Dead Man's Blood seemed to get a strong response, so I made some headers featuring smiling Sam. I restrained myself from using *all* of the special effects in Photoshop. Enjoy!

Oh Season 1...back in the day when the boys actually smiled and laughed. I love the fact that in this series of pics it's JOHN who gets a smile and a laugh out of Sam.

As I have been browsing episode caps through seasons 1 & 2 I found myself drawn to Sam-as-protector; most of the time this involves damsels and dudes in distress (and occasionally Dean and Dad). So, I give to you Protective!Sam in Rescue Mode - Season 1.
